Royal Riviera® Pears

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, our Royal Riviera® Pears are here! An extraordinary amount of care and dedication goes into growing our premium pears, from tending the orchards year-round and pruning the trees at just the right time to picking and packing each precious pear by hand. All the hard work is worth it though, because once they're ripened, they're super juicy with a sweet, buttery texture—reasons why we believe they’re simply the best pear around. Once you take that first delectable bite, we think you will too.

NOW HAPPENING IN THE ORCHARDS

Our pear and peach trees are now dormant, and our orchard crews have begun pruning. Over the next three to four months, they will prune over 700,000 trees spread across the 19 orchards we own in the Rogue Valley.

Citrus

Exceptionally juicy HoneyBells are a cross between a Dancy tangerine and a Duncan grapefruit—and we are shipping HoneyBells grown in California for a limited time. We are also shipping navel oranges and grapefruit grown in Florida as well as Cara Cara oranges, navel oranges, Sumo Citrus® mandarins, and NEW MandaRosa® mandarins grown in California.

Pears

We are now shipping Royal Riviera® Pears and Bosc pears from our orchards in Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley, as well as d’Anjou pears from Oregon and Washington.

Stone Fruit

We are shipping nectarines grown in Chile.

Apples

Our apple varieties this month will be Cosmic Crisp, Honeycrisp, Envy, and Autumn Glory grown in Washington, as well as Ambrosia grown in New York.

Specialty Vegetables

Our featured vegetable this month is white asparagus grown in Peru. We are also shipping avocados grown in Mexico, as well as green tomatoes and Shitake mushrooms grown in California
